Nerissa was raised online, has the mid 2000s bit with knowing a few bits of lore by watching the anime of some VNs and then diving into all the bits associated with it in the fan communities, which is how a good few got to know the clusterfuck 0verflow family trees. She knows extensive info about Higurashi (which coincidentally, I think its interesting that she herself feels a bit like Takano seemingly outwardly this smooth sexy femme fatale, internally really cute nerd with a trauma list a mile wide) and definitely also spoilered herself with Umineko as we saw at the beginning of the Silence of the Lambs watchalong with Advent which also orchestrated Shiori's knowledge though she probably actually read some Umineko since Nerissa doesn't like to read, she gets her knowledge from wikis and stuff. Shiori definitely feels like the more deep in the reading VNs aspect, but Nerissa like me, dug into lore bits for hours back in the day of stuff I liked, so equally hardcore in that aspect. So both pretty hardcore and would know a surprising amount of things.

Advent I think in general are hardcore passionate people about the particular things they fancy. The twin pups and Biboo riding the cute train, but they've got a brand of hardcore too. Shiori being a fujo that gets excited her mod team might give her some translated yaoi smut will never not be hilarious. Nerissa being a fiendish idol otaku, got into the Omegaverse, and being this close to getting her into gunpla building means I think Advent has potential of being one of the most based yet cursed gems of a gen we have for a long time.
