Best cheap mic? I have a really cheap XLR mic and audio interface but it's really bad about picking up audio if my face isn't directly in the mic. I have a janky work around but it sometimes makes it sound like I have reverb on.
Should I just get a USB mic? or is there a good mid-range XLR mic that isn't 100+ dollars

I know I'm coming off as dismissive in my bluntness, I know some people take kayfabe more seriously than others, but unless you're going full hatoba tsugu then you've always got the out of your character, at the end of the day, trying to entertain an audience. you'd be surprised how much leeway that gives you in and of itself.

I had two Fifines, Different models, They caught alllll the noise no matter how far away I was so make sure to use OBS audio filters. My AT2020 makes me sound quieter, and you can't properly mute, but the audio quality is great as long as you increase the gain.
