Probably had the most discussion. Possible song choices discussed are: L4DL, Live Again, SCA, and EOAL. Could easily be combined with the drawing project as well.

A few anons favorite, this is most likely the easiest suggestion and its very cute as well.
Honorable mentions are the mecha game and VN which had one or two mentions in the replies.
With that said, after reading what everyone had to say, I think the best thing to do is to combine all three choices: A /morig/ sings project with an MV that includes submitted artwork and blurbs of some of your favorite memories of this past year with a thumbnail/ central art piece that is a grid by grid redraw of art from the song we are going to cover.

Like I'm sure eoal has one (because it's in my playlist) But I think the ones with off-vocals are usually the "singular" releases, whatever they're called, so no songs from albums or EPs most of the time. So yeah, no L4DL or Soul Food out there, at least not official.

I'm not the guy who offered to make the instrumental ealier, but I've been playing around with Audacity to try and make an instrumental for L4DL, man it's hard and I can't make it not sound like crap.
