I don't understand why you thi k leaving NijiEN would be a bad thing. Obviously they have been restricting her, it is clear she has been shadow suspended due to the song whoch was mismanaged. Hololive is clearly restrictive and less desirable. Vshojo would be the best if it's a Pomu x Selen combo since they will be with friends and very friendly co-workers. They will also have a lot more agency for projects especially into 3D. There's also a very strong chance of multiple outfits and high quality models + rigging. Next best would be undisclosed VSP0 as they have the tech, huge risk, but obviously they are big names so freedom to shape a generation. Phase got mentioned a lot lately but are unrealistic now as they announced a JP branch along with their recent gen 3.
If she stays in NijiEN she is going to be miserable, just look at Pomu and as an outside observer Selen is probably suffering more.

Pretty sure we're being raided at this point but yeah I don't think I would be able to handle a case of Selen getting terminated & having all of her "crimes" labeled as a form of Blacklisting. Or even a Magni/Vesper case of Graduation but no Buildup or Streams.
Still I think it's just as likely the case for her to be still recovering from her Hospitalisation/Injuries, only it taking far longer than either Selen or us would actually like... (Or she's still trying to figure out what to say concerning her current condition)

The reason I think it's really, really unlikely to be anything related to the hospitalization is that it would be simple and easy for her to just drop a tweet saying "Hey guys, doing better by the day, see you soon". In fact, I am 99% certain she would do that if she could, because why would she leave her fans in limbo?
