I think people at Cover have come to the conclusion that they're near their limit in terms of growth with their current audience. Cover has been slowly increasing their efforts toward the overseas audience. They've been including the EN girls in more projects, mixing them with the JP girls. In the Sports Fest, New Years countdown, and Towa Mario Kart tournament, they've tried to make each grouping of girls equal amounts JP and overseas, Mio and I think Towa even said they did it on purpose during their events. They've had Holomeet, there's been more collabs between EN and JP, and the JP girls in have started speaking more English or really any English at all. Another hint would be that A-chan and Yagoo learned English. In recent interviews with Yagoo, he keeps mentioning the overseas audience too.
