As someone who used to watch VShojo, I really doubt it. She'd be a great addition, but the management is really really fucking lazy and cheap. Well I don't think she's joining but the pros and cons are this:
Pros: Brand is recognized and gets attention. Management very rarely tells them what to do. Pretty good merch and some rare events that she wouldn't get as an indie.
Cons: Management avoids work. Management is mediocre when they do help. Management plays favorites (Mousecorp)

I don't think it's a negative if she does join, but it's more like being an indie+ than being corpo.

Anon, nobody actually knows why the auditions went nowhere. It's just as likely that the members couldn't agree on which /lig/gers to let in as what you said, or something else entirely. It's also just irrelevant to people that are in the org, because they keep all of their streaming income and can spend it on whatever projects they want, for example NotMysta already has his home 3D (a bit scuffed honestly a great model) despite only being there a few months.
I'm fairly confident Pomu is going there just because she's good friends with a couple people who are already in the org. Doki less so, but it's not like she's got zero connections either. In either case I expect these kind of calculations are going to matter a lot more than "resources" because, again, the talents keep their resources and direct their own projects.

Hi /vsj+/fag here and we actually know exactly why the auditions went nowhere with a pretty decent timeline. There were somewhat-regular updates for the auditions and how they were being handled going around until the end of 2021 when they said they would contact anyone still in the audition process and let them know what comes next soon. Fast forward to about I think March or April and instead of doing anything they just tell a bunch of people who were still in the running that they were eliminated. What happened in that time? Kson was suddenly on the table, and Rushia was a free agent. VShojo's still a small company in terms of number of employees, and they had to form an entire separate company in a completely different country so that they could properly hire on Kson and future-Nazuna, along with having the structure for any future JP talents that may fall into their laps (Henya.) This, coupled with building hype for the event (Nazuna was literally teased in May, almost 2 full months before she debuted) and getting a stage at AX likely consumed pretty much all of their available manpower, and it wasn't until after that and the dust settled that they returned to the auditions and finished them off with Haruka joining in December.

Now that it's done there's no more delays there for any future ones, like Henya. At the end of 2021 Silvervale actually told how many people were working at VShojo, and it was just 11 not counting the talents.

Phase Connect takes large profit cuts from all money their Vtubers make. Vshojo takes nothing out of stream profits, and according to Geega, only a small cut from merch and sponsorships. All Vshojo talents also get a allowance that is allowed to be spent for anything stream related, no strings attached. With a staff of maybe a dozen people, not sure they can afford taking on all that many talent.

I don't absolutely hate the idea like some people do, but it's worth outlining the downsides as well.

One thing that immediately jumps out about this tournament is it's entirely Vshojos, liggers and fleshies. There's no one from Holo, even Stars, and no one from Niji (though obviously she'd be collab banned anyway). And that's from Ironmouse, who has the biggest pull of anyone in the org. Not saying Doki couldn't necessarily do better hypothetically, but it's not straightforwardly easier to do so than what NotDoki has access to, or what she might have in a different group.
