Gura’s explosion in popularity has given Cover the formula they need for a wildly successful vtuber.

As much as i agree that the quality of her content is whatever, that’s only because it’s standard Cover fair. She doesn’t stand from others in much more than her personality is extremely marketable and the average pleb will latch on quick.

Sadly for you and for anyone else who may subjectively put more ‘Work’ like Kiara, means that Cover looks at Gura as a long term hold and a profitable business model.

The other issue is that since Kiara was the favorite from the get go and the one to have by far the most effort on the part of cover for most work put into her means that whilst her earnings are gold her low subs mean that generally speaking Gura is still the favorite, again as much to my dismay as it may be.

They most likely have models being made ahead of time but with everything going on I don't think they'll get a 3D debut anytime soon. You should probably expect a second outfit for the EN girls like the ID to make up for that though

Kiara's "talk show" is pretty much just your standard collab, but the song releases yes, now that's something tangible. Mind however it's much easier for those two to find contractors for this stuff because they live in Japan. This also will likely be the reason why they'll get their 3D first so:

Logistics say Mori simply because she's going to be the only one in Japan. Kiara will be by herself in Europa. And, Gura and Ina are all spread out over North America.

As long as Corona is still a huge deal it's gonna be quite hard for any of the others to actually get one due to all the self isolation they'd have to do.

Probably none of them for a long long time. EN is a different branch like ID. They have a completely different team around them seperate from JP. When different branches like these are created within a company they usually recieve different support and resources from upper management.
I cant see any reason, why Cover would give them 3D. EN talents live too remote from each other and from the japan studio. There is also no reason for the EN branch to participate in the concerts, since these are mainly for the japanese audience and therefore you will only see JP talents in them.

HoloEN will NEVER debut in 3D. Hololive's unique 3D presentation relies on confidential Japanese technology that can only be activated at Cover's special ceremonial Studio in Japan. Gaijin are not allowed into the building, let alone into the inner sanctum of the Studio. No I don’t think residency has anything to do with getting a 3D model. I think once they reach a certain subscriber milestone they can get a 3D model. It’s just a matter of whether or not they can go to the office in order to be able to use it, which all of the Jp girls have and Calli might be able to do since she’ll be the only EN member in Japan. But maybe sometime in the future they’ll have the tech to have and use a 3D model without having to go to the office. Plenty of other vtubers use one assumingely from their home so it’s feasible.
