It’s understandable to some extent. The reason it hit us hard when he vanished (to some of us, at least) is because we had invested a lot and grew attached to this vtuber as a long term project, consciously or not.
We got that rug pulled from under us, really.
That project looked like different things for each of us depending on what you cared about. For me, i didn’t really care much about the idol stuff, didn’t watch half of HQ, and his model wasn’t something I particularly liked either. When orc got back, it pretty much was smooth transition for me. Everything that was significant to me had returned.

I can imagine what the other end is like. And i can see why it would be a struggle. Especially because what I’m describing is not something i think most vesties had the chance to properly process.
