When she streamed for well over a week and seemed to really have fun back last summer or so, around the advent debuts, I actually got myself back into a "we're back" mindset and believed that again.
I was skeptical for over a week but she kept streaming a lot and had a good time, so I came around on it.

That's what got me to be so bitter now, I really believed she was coming back, she sounded excited about things, said we were going to have a lot of stuff in October, and then right before splash party she just left without saying a word, and I still kept hope for a few more weeks, hoping maybe there was just behind the scenes stuff from the concert and she was just taking a breather, then the anniversary stream happened and I was happy in the moment, but when I had time to reflect on it I could feel she didn't actually want to be there, and then it just started sinking in that she really wants nothing to do with this anymore, and all her actions after just keep cementing that farther.

I'm not going to get too crazy, but I still believe she doesn't plan to really leave us anytime soon. She always talks about the things she wants to do with us, play with us, make for us... But the whole hololive thing really does take a toll on this low battery girl. It really sucks that she finds it so hard to talk to her fans about it, but I get it, I can't get mad at her about it. It'd be nice if she had it in her to just let people know she's not going to be available for a minute, but I really get it.

And she already has all the free time she wants, she's far too valuable for them to want her gone. She costs them next to nothing as an established holo (which is also why poorly performing holos would never be fired, the running costs once they exist are extremely small) yet she keeps raking in money for them through merch and selling her to third parties for shill stuff.
Plus, they get to use her to boast during investor meetings and with financial reports. Most subscribed vtuber and so on.
