YES. I remember seeing her on Twitter when she got kicked out of her job and thinking she was extremely based and wanting to do exactly the same. She is my role model.
I started following her after that, I didn't know her prior to her getting kicked.

Also I LOVED Needy Girl Overdose about the crazy bpd menhera girl becoming streamer. She is like me for real. I feel so called to it.

So that's where my inspirations to become vtuber came from.

Apart from that, I used to watch a ton of YouTube when I was younger, so I started my shitty gameplay edits YouTube channel back in the day (and streamed sometimes without ANYONE at all comming to the chat) so I learned how to use a video editing software.

I have a consistent 0 views. My last video on my channel has 1 view. Like, for real.
And when I don't edit shit and just drop the worst and most lazy video ever, I get a shit ton of views and no one stays in my channel at all.


I was thinking to continue making my shitty edits and do streaming at the same time as vtuber as I like doing it but my channel kinda doesn't have a personality at all since I fully change all my media every week or so. I wanted to get a full time mascot for my channel and do vtubing with it.

Ask yourself why someone would want to watch you if you can't offer something unique. This is an extreme example but anytime uwo streams people have an "I was there" attitude about it because NOT being there means they missed out. That kind of thing makes you very likely to be successful as long as you can convey it properly. If you don't have that, then you're gonna need your personality alone to be so compelling that people enjoy being around you. If you already have lots of friends irl (which I doubt because most VTubers don't) then that's more likely to be the case.

Don’t be unique, be fun, be good. Being unique doesn’t help unless you get lucky and blow up. Just be funny/entertaining and make stuff you would watch and enjoy. You can branch out with “unique” stuff after you get that down and hope something takes off.
