I was going to say start as a PNGtuber if you have to, then I remembered Vroid exists. Just make yourself a free model and stream. If you're entertaining and promote yourself properly you will get viewers. Once you have viewers you can get them to fund a proper live2d model. Most people fail at the "be entertaining" part though, or they're entertaining but don't know how to get eyes on themselves. Anyway good luck

You don't need a unique model to stream. Neuro used one of the default VTubeStudio models for almost half a year.
There's people that use VRChat models as well.
Or just use a PNG.
