I hate how this is true. On the nijisanji side of things Hana Macchia has nothing to envy from Lazulight contentwise but they have the EN tag and will catch up to her in a few months with relative ease. Also Ollie, Reine and Risu are lightyears ahead of half of holo EN entertainment-wise but again, they have ID in their tags so it all goes to waste.

Her main viewers are indos and they can't donate with SCs. HoloID use alternate donation channels like streamlabs. God knows how much she earned from there but she does have her own indo gachikois actually. But overall people just really underestimate how cheap is Indonesia. From what I can tell, and from others who do the same - singular language stream format.
Everyone I know who does that gets less views and engagement in general. It's like creating discrete sub-communities who miss x% of your streams.
Those who mix multiple languages tend to get overwhelmingly higher engagement levels, especially if they focus on one main language with the occasional 2nd language interspersed.
But even then you are still only speaking marginal increases. It's still not as high as picking one and sticking with it most of the time, outside of the occasional [other language] stream specials.
As far as I can tell, Pikamee seems to be the best at managing this while speaking 2 languages quite a lot, repeating herself. It's a bit jarring if you know both languages, which is also going to put off some people naturally.
There's always trade-offs.
