What games are you seeing them play? A lot of vtubers will pick up kids because they stream kidbait like minecraft and those kids are randoms. If I had to guess its a split of that and boys/men in their mid-teens up thru late 20s.

It is interesting how kids stumbled onto it because it's not like these vtubers are even marketing to kids specifically.

On another note; I'm gradually beginning to lose sight of how young people are on the internet now. Like, say if I read some YouTube comments - I will read them with the belief that everyone who wrote them is in their 20s, when that's obviously not the case. The same will go for any board on 4chan. My first thought is that everyone who posts is in their 20s, when the reality is there's a fuck ton of underaged people on here who really don't have a clue what they're talking about.

I think it's fair to say that anyone who is actually under the age of 18 on the internet usually bumps their age up by a few years (I think we've all been guilty of this in the past). So if you're 14, you'll say you're 16-17 and if you're 17 you will likely say you're 18-19. This only really stops once you hit 20 and figure out that being older isn't cool.
