This is common among Vtubers. The outward appearance or the "perfect" version of their personalities that they present publicly is what defines their character. Hololive in general and Marine in particular are a good example of this. Marine is more a producer of her "Marine" brand outside looking in from that perspective she becomes a fan of herself. In a way it's almost as if the fans and talents are the one's pushing the character brand and making it popular.
