I've been stuck at this for a while so could use some help. How tf do I insulate myself using the jellyfish? I think I got all info from Feldspar but whenever I try to enter a jellyfish, my ship gets electrocuted and the reactor eventually explodes. Am I missing something?

To learn the anglefish's weakness she would need to explore the fossil on Amber Twin and getting there requires you to be swift and arrive there before the city gets buried by sand. Hence discovering the Vessel is a mid-to-late game thing you do after you discover all these.

You have to be under the very center of the jellyfish when it's descending into the core, if you're just under the outer edge of the jellyfish you'll get zapped away. I think this part was the final hurdle for me as well so I can relate; I spent 20 minutes waiting at the Bramble Island campsite thinking an anticyclone would sink it to the bottom lmao

I'm thinking about keeping track of her progress on all the "relevant knowledge checks" for beating the game and landing on the quantum moon (I dont think you gain any relevant knowledge from the quantum moon but maybe its required for the good ending because that guy is in the good ending)

dude i got to the vessel with all the prerequisite knowledge steps on hour 3, one of the first things i did. all the knowledge gates outside of the quantum moon and steps to get to the end are only 2-3 stages and you can do it all in any order. the only thing shes missing is one dialogue box from ash twin and she could've gone there instead of brittle hollow and still ended up here.

the mid-late game idea is basically just saying there are locations in the game that almost require certain knowledge, ie. to get to giants deep you need no knowledge, to get below the surface you need to know about the cyclone spinning the opposite way and to get below that you need to know about the cyclone and the jellyfish, since there are no upgrades/abilties you can theoretically do anything at any time but for most playthroughs to get the most out of certain locations you need to be there later on in your playthrough, most obviously with the vessel since that needs to be the last thing you do, and to properly "explore" it you need knowledge from all planets or at least almost all planets

She's doing really well, she's just occasionally tunnel visioning and missing/forgetting bits of interface or info. Any time she stops and thinks about what to do she's leagues ahead of most people who stream this, especially since she doesn't have a chat to constantly consult for hints.
