It was going back in for appendicitis that complicated into an insane infection that almost killed me a week after the surgery to remove it. The appendicitis was a single night, the cleanup because they fucked up when removing it was a week.
Although I guess going on 4chan on a hospital device in 2009 wasn't as stigmatized, given all that really existed to the general public was Anonymous and the Van threat that some retard posted on /b/.
I just figure the hospital would have blocked this place for sure so you would have had to use wifi.

No, got appendicitis -> ignored the pain for a week -> felt like falling over and went to a walk in -> got diagnosed and told it was leaking and I would have died a day or two later if I didn't come in -> get it removed that day -> overnight and home ezpz -> get a high fever a week later -> go in and find out I have a huge infection because they didn't clean it out well enough.
It was super weird, because they put me under again to attach a stint they could push water though that would dribble out into a bag right next to my right hip. They'd come in, hook a plunger up to it, and press water into it which felt like a cold knife sliding around my midsection and it would drip nasty shit into the bag for them to collect. I was on mad amounts of morphine for the most of that time though, so I felt nothin.
As for those sites, I don't think anyone cares enough to update their firewall/block list for shit like that, I just figured with 4chan's history and known status at this point, it would have been on some no-access list.

One of the upsides of living in a city with a big med school is that when you need specialist they have almost everything at one of the downtown hospitals and they tend to be pretty competent, but the downside is for more routine stuff like appendectomies or broken bones you'll almost always get a student.
