Hope Shotgunchama is doing well.

Randon Neuring is a battered shell of an orc that works at a barely above entry-level position in an undisclosed e-commerce company. He used to be some kind of bandit, but a mounted knight stabbed him through the liver with a lance and ran him over with an armored warhorse. He spent six months in traction and his gang didn't have health insurance so now he's in more or less permanent medical debt. After rough days at work(three times a week) he plays video games that remind him of better times as an orkling. From a human frame of reference he's in his late 30s. He has a very unnatural hair color (red) that his company doesn't approve of, so he dyes his hair black and keeps it cut in a business acceptable style. The roots are probably showing through very slightly. He has a bit of stubble that his manager will probably yell at him over soon. His eye color is red-brown, and his skin-tone is some kind of green. He has pretty thick eyebrows, not liking the brow-less orc aesthetic. He thinks his ear shape is about right, with lower fangs much more pronounced. He wears a loosened necktie(with a pattern based on one of his three hobbies) and a long-sleeved collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He's tall and beefy, still over six feet tall when he's hunched over like orcs do. He wears cheap, featureless eyeglasses that he buys from Costco (his favourite store) every three years. Randon isn't his real name, he doesn't want his real name on the internet. He chose the name because it's a pun, Randonneuring is a style of semi- competitive bicycling. He enjoys cycling, fishing, and golfing in that order. Golfing tends to bring out his inner orc rage so it's his least favorite hobby. Despite suffering from clinical depression, he does get excited about his hobbies and other things that interest him and has a tendency to ramble on about those things. A “secret weeb”, is Randon Neuring.

Not sure what you meant, but what I meant was they could just post all their updates to Twitter and have Discord Twitter bots announce all their tweets (e.g.if they want to tweet an upcoming stream or lack thereof). Though I guess they can't separate them into channels easily like they can on Discord (e.g. stream schedule-related messages vs. misc tweets). Dunno if there are bots that do the opposite and copy updates from Discord to Twitter or if that's allowed...

If a bot is only watching Twitch/Discord for whether or not they're live, it has no way of knowing if they're not going to stream in advance. Further, if Randon doesn't show up at exactly 10:00 PST, there's no way to know whether he's just late, or whether he's not coming at all. If you send out a tweet saying that he's not going to stream, it could drive people away from a stream that's just 10 minutes late.

I'm really confused. I mean, if they post "stream tonight at 8" or "sorry guys no stream today" to Discord and forget to post the same thing to Twitter, they could just post "stream tonight at 8" or "sorry guys running 30 min late" to Twitter itself and have a Twitter bot that copies over all their tweets and posts them in a tweets channel in Discord (or vice versa, maybe, but I don't know if there's a bot for that). They still have to post it. The only issue is when they forget to post it to both places, so people who aren't both on Discord and Twitter might miss posts they make in the other location. The bot would only help them copy these messages to the other platform so they don't have to remember to manually post it to both locations.

All I was saying is that there are already bots that exist on Discord that can watch someone's Twitter/Twitch/Youtube and post alerts when there are updates, so if they tweet, those bots can pick those up and copy them to Discord. I don't think Randon's server uses either of those. Lando's server has bots that alert when he goes live on Twitch or posts a video to YouTube, though he doesn't have a bot for his Tweets. The vesmite fancords have channels for their respective oshi's tweets AND alerts when they go live. Lando also has a channel only for stream schedule messages of the "stream tonight/no stream tonight" variety which are copied over to both vesmite fancords. (Lando puts these in a separate channel from the now live/new video updates. Randon posts both "now live" and "no stream" type updates to the same announcements channel manually)
