Really hard. If you are really popular or get really lucky you can get 5k-7k per 1 million ad views on your video. This would depend on where the views are coming from as sponsors pay more for views from different market segments so a 15k video will probably break even after about 3-4 million views assuming that her viewers all received and watched the ads for her video.

Mainly this is just them giving back to the fans. I think Marine talked about her videos and how she doesn't expect them to ever break even by themselves and she gets millions of views for her songs.
