If you need a chuuba to stay afloat in the moment and not neck yourself, that's fine, but you should know it's a crutch, not a solution. In a situation like this, the problem is that you're basing your happiness off of others in a pseudo relationship. It's a recipe doomed to disaster when the parasocialism is inevitably broken whether months down or years down the line.

I'm not saying to give up watching chuubas or Shiori or that Shiori shouldn't make you happy-- just that you shouldn't base your happiness off her or any chuuba. You need to find positive habits in your life that give a stronger foundation for happiness. A professional can help with that.

Things like investing into a hobby you enjoy, putting yourself out there to find personal relationships, or even working out and taking care of yourself can be a start. It won't be immediate or anything, but just a step at a time is what matters.

I also know of a technique called free writing developed by a James Pennebaker that helped me out in the past too. More specifically, it helped me unwravel what was really messing with me mentally by putting it into words, because emotions can be complex sometime.
