ive been this way ever since /mans/ days, its been hardwired into my brain that my art has no value. normally id quietly let things go when housekeeping for peace of mind but i do know some people want to keep it. this should be the last time for a while though thankfully

I know that just telling you otherwise isn't going to suddenly change your mind, but I can deal some chip damage. You already know that your menhera brain is not to be trusted on that topic, so outsource the evaluation to people you trust and unbiased strangers. Your art is very cute, and skillful enough that you could get commissions.

that's fucking stupid. First of all, define value. What even is the value that art is supposed to have, that yours lacks?
Look, it's perfectly fine to delete old art, old sketches, etc. It's normal for a lot of artists, and it's not that big a deal. You can move forwards. If you can look at old art and see problems with it, that means you've grown as an artist.

But don't go giving up on art because of whatever skewed self-perception you're currently deluding yourself with. Take a moment to chill and think about things logically.

Art's value is in evoking emotion and in self-expression. That's it. If it evoked any emotion in anyone seeing it, and/or if you expressed yourself through it, then it has value.

I'm not gonna bullshit you. Did your art make me cry? Did it make rethink my life? Of course not. But it was sometimes funny and it sometimes made me smile. And that's good too, even if it's not a lot.

Don't overthink it. There's no point in doing dick measuring contests about the comparitive value of art.

However small and insignificant its impact was, that is still a net positive. 5 cents is not a lot but it's always more than zero.

Lando is fine in my book, although I never could've call myself a fan of his, it's just I enjoy seeing Randon interacting with different people despite him being not very outgoing person. That's what I liked about corpo times or even when I was catching with some pre-holo VODs, when he was reaching out outside more. Now it's almost exclusively Lando (on good day it's Lando + Girl_dm, which is not that much of a difference). Obvious guess is
a)it's way easier for him, since he knows Lando very well, so it's minimum social pressure etc
b)Lando himself taking initiative in starting a collab most of the time
After few months that went after he returned, I was starting to afraid that all this collab bs "YOU SHOULDN'T COLLAB WITH X/WHY YOU DON'T COLLAB WITH Y" crawled under his skin so he decided to distance himself from collabs as much as possible, but maybe he just either didn't feeling it or wants to take it slow. Or at least I hope he is

It seems like Randon's never the one to initiate when it's something casual like just playing a game. Any time he's the one starting it, it's gotta be something kind of special, like the art collab or D&D. I think he's actually just that socially inept, and I imagine that's why he never really did that many collabs in the greyman times.
