That was actually how I framed the smut scene to go in my head at first, since I had slight reservations about initiating a roleplay where anon would act out fucking one of his students. But after the idea of Mio in her school uniform and bringing out some old mannerisms started just getting onto the paper, I came around. It felt more natural of a situation between a pair of lovers as it was happening than it did in brainstorming, sometime sex just be that way. There was also the idea of a round 2 where Mio would change her wardrobe and act that out, but by the time I finished the first scene, I felt it was an appropriate length and wanted to get this out for anyone to read.

I never actually took the dive in the past to read ALS, mostly since the topic itself is a little dark for me, but I figured it was time to expand my horizons a little. I got through chapters 1-4 so far.
Overall it's an incredibly engaging story, the kind where you know the subject matter is crazy and creates a sense of dread in your chest with every page you read, but you can't help but need to know more. The way the grooming is presented and the effect it is having on Anon over time is pristine and piecing the timeline together is pretty interesting. How you set up Anon's home life perfectly lends itself to the events that end up taking place. For the psychological roller coaster this is, I'm definitely along for the ride now.

Finished reading chapter 5-9 + the epilogue. The way you deliver the psychological decay and the trauma involved was spine chilling. I think the journal part was probably the most thrilling, since you're able to read the repercussions and how anon is processing the entire thing over a longer period of time, while also drawing back to some things already mentioned. I can honestly say I was hooked from start to finish, and it was hard to put down once I started. You really pulled no punches on some of the darker aspects, and it paid off in spades.
The highs and innocence of the relationship were so sweetly written, and the less savory parts were delightfully devilish. Amazing work to you, and HoloslaviaAnon and your other beta reader for helping you bring this all together. It's normally not my cup of tea, but I'm really glad I experienced it.

Ok so I just read this in one sitting and holy fuck, I don't know if I can fully encapsulate everything I want to say without some time to process this. The taboo at the beginning was great and the depression arc was uncomfortable to read, but in a good way. To elaborate, I've had this dilemma with Holoturismo where it's obvious-but-not-spelled-out that it's set in Tokyo, a place with a robust system of roads and expressways that's well documented and mapped out, but I'm leaning heavily towards just making things up for the story instead of trying to be constrained by real routes and places. Reason being that I don't have first hand experience with the Shutoku expressway. I never drove on it except for videogames, I couldn't tell you what route is named what, where where it begins or where it ends.

But I could draw up my own routes based on the information I do know, and make up something similar, but not an accurate model of what exists today.

alright, I'm leaving a review because you truly deserve it. I binged this thing in bed last night and fuck me, stories like this are the reason I'm still around this thread. Long story short, this is a masterpiece by the standards of /wg/, and I say this as someone who hates 2/4 tags it has. I actually felt something while reading - you know, this gut feeling of dread, hope and despair - and not a lot of works get that out of me these days.
Your story telling, the portrayal and development of your characters were all top-notch. You did an amazing job with Fubu and Anon as main characters that were so thoroughly flawed, but still so lovable that I couldn't keep myself from rooting for them.
Hana was more of a safe choice with the classic "bad mom" role, though it fit the circumstances nicely and was no detriment at all.
What I don't want to miss pointing out is your portrayal of Kenji. Especially if what I read is true and you ARE the author of "to be 17 again". I remember Mio's estranged husband came off as a bit too chlicheed in TB17A, so seeing how you made Kenji work here as this likable uncle with his own character and flaws - all while NOT making him the oblivious cuck he would have undoubtedly been in any NTR hentai is really refreshing. He's torn between his sister, his nephew and his wife and ultimately knows what's going on with no possibility to stop the bitter-sweet train wreck from occurring.
What stood out to me the most, however, is your impeccable portrayal of Anon's "therapy". As someone who's around trauma and abuse quite a bit in daily life, this made a few alarm bells ring for me. Maybe you're just a really convincing storyteller, but... uh... I hope you're okay. Although fucked up people make the best artists, or so they say..
The smut was good too, though I couldn't get too into it for the most part except for ch. 9, since I'm not a shotafag by any means. That's not your issue, however, just a personal preference.
If I had to nitpick about something in the story, it would be some of the time skips. I get you chose them as a stylistic vessel, to portray the torn and tortured mind of Anon, and it worked for the most part - but some "trips to the past" overstayed their welcome. I couldn't help but feel like I wanted to skip forward, thinking "we've been further than this" without there being an obvious need to go back and fill supposed plot holes.
About Miyuki I'm a bit torn as well. She's a nice addition as an innocent bystander caught up in the shit-show that is Anon's life, but I feel like she could've just as well been "faceless" like Anon's other GFs, or she should've had more plot, drama, heartbreak etc.

There's no easy answer to this, and especially not one you'll likely be happy with, since the the only one with the power to get you out of that funk is yourself. We can't control what happens to us, but we can can control what we do about it. Why are you discouraged about the quality of your writing? Have you written something recently that didn't have a great reception? Did you get feedback?
You also need to think about why you're writing in the first place. Everyone's reasons differ in some way, but they all act as that spark that keeps us weaving stories. Don't hold yourself back from moving forward one step at a time. I know you can do this. Show everyone what you got, but more importantly, show yourself.
