the way i see it, and i change my mind every 10 minutes. it is that gura feels betrayed by cover. they promise to support her and help her with her projects and they never deliver. sucks to be us on the receiving end, but I'm sure gura didnt want it to be like this either.
my current headcanon is that gura isnt going to put any effort in cover as long as they dont put any effort into her ambitions. I'm sure all the sponsored streams we've seen so far are planned and organised by cover.
In a way, it shows how much cover thinks of gura. whatever we currently see, is covers management of her. And it has always been like this. everything else was a gift from gura to us.
