Watching the stream announcement and reading the statement, it seems like a contract dispute. Particularly given that there's two talents graduating instead of one.

For the past several weeks(or perhaps months?) someone had apparently been predicting this in their general, as well as in /corpo/ and I think PixelLink's general as well. He was brushed off as a schizo, but evidently he was on to something.

Have you noticed a pattern with graduations like this at small to mid sized vtuber companies? I kind of have.

Someone hits the point in their career where they've got viewer counts in the mid hundreds to low thousands. They're well past what most small corpo vtubers manage to do and doing as well or better than most indies. They're on the cusp of outperforming some of the less successful Niji EN talents on a consistent basis. Then suddenly something behind the scenes happens and they graduate.
