The point I'm trying to make is that JP vtubers had no chance since the vast majority of their viewers demographic wasn't involved in the voting process. IM cannot compete with the biggest JP chuubas in a direct popularity contest, which is basically all this was. Therefore you could easily beat her by not limiting the award to the EN sphere.

I meant to add to this that the holo ENs would still be likely to be in the running because the JP audience, which is highly concentrated in hololive, would still have some peripheral knowledge of the EN gens. EN in general is much more spread out between coropos of varying sizes and indies.
