Why is that so unbelievable? None of the fans of their other pairings are anywhere near as obnoxious, mentally ill and demanding as pekomikofags were. It was obvious that both Miko and Pekora were uncomfortable by the sheer levels of mental illness pekomikofags exhibited, and they asked them to stop several times over the course of the years.
Remember when Miko was visibly and audibly uncomfortable when pekomikofags demanded she "confess" her feelings for Pekora? Miko practically begged them to not have to do that since she and Pekora aren't like that (which is something she'd said before too). They forced her to do it anyway, and then they forced her to do yet again because there wasn't enough "emotion" in it and Miko just seemed so fucking done with it all at that point. It also falls in with the official reason given by Miko.
You have no other explanation besides schizo delusions.
