Several years ago when vtuber clips were starting to get a lot of traction, some pretty decent OG clippers made a detailed google doc with guidelines for proper formatting and translations, resources for proofreading, and most notably, a blacklist of repeat offenders who would constantly clickbait, fabricate drama, and even outright steal other people's clips. They got shit on for making a "blacklist", mostly by the very people on that list and the mountain of shitty ESL speedclippers that would upload all sorts of trash

JShay, Murasaki Ringo, nekomikuri, maple leaf are really fun translators and it's always nice to watch them. Funnily enough everyone here hates on nekomikuri for being a nijifag but I'm 2022 he quit niji for Hololive and reported vox's ASMR stream to YouTube. Accurate with things that you might feel uneasy if you're a literal TL puritan. Not as egregious as inserting every meme in existence in every single word, but more of using similar or equivalent TL for some sentences.
If we're using anime terms, it's better than burger localization, while also on the same level as accurate fansub rather than professional level.
Oh and also, no words are omitted. Every single one is fully translated unlike tengoku/sushi

I don't follow all clippers mentioned in these threads but the ones I do are very accurate. Sometimes they're a bit too literal, sometimes they leave a slang term untranslated (but it's an eternal debate how to treat those cases). Many times they use translation notes when something isn't clear.
My personal recommendation goes to Yura who always puts up translation notes with extra context - like what the stream is about, what kind of past event the vtuber is referencing and so on. For example in pic related he included a part of old stream.

That guy is the main clipper for Shigure Ui and many other vtuber mamas.

I used to watch a clipper that started with NePoLaBo y then move to be a Chloe simp. She had a good editing and make things very engaging. But seems real life hit him and deleted his channel. A shame.
Now I just found clips of Hajime, Raden and the other re_gloss girls. The ones that I like us Holomonogatari for the edits and Statsky TL although this one is described as a Roberu's clipper, the fucker hadn't posted a Roberu's clip in three months

I watched hours of some guy translating Subaru's Become Human back before my JP proficiency increased along with basically any other longer clips I could find.
In 2023 though I mostly just watch short JP clips along with my favorite holo's streams.

If there were long-cuts of long JP streams, for example turning a 10 hour stream into 1-2 hours of tight content I would watch a LOT of those, but there aren't because something like that is equivalent to a well-paid job, but doing it For Free(tm) and also gets close to violating fan guidelines of "too long".
Now that I'm thinking about it though, if you DID make high-quality long-cut streams, it'd literally be something you could put on a resume since every TV show hires people doing basically the same thing.
