The recaps are mostly cosmetic. They don't really show anything except "You were +X over start of the year." A more interesting thing for me would be if somebody could chart the raw data against itself. Is there a correlation between number of streams and number of followers/subscribers (likely) or number of hours watched and number of followers/subscribers. Once you remove the individual you can play around with the data a bit in a way that isn't the age old "look how X is mogging Y" bait.

I keep trying to tell the males that your success is going to be vastly different from women, women have larger fanbases and bigger numbers but they're infinitely more fickle and shallow. Males have more merit based success such as sponsorships, and a tight knit community.

For the sane people, you need to cultivate your audience by choosing something you can see yourself doing for hundreds and hundreds of hours years on end. It's fair to slowly change your content as you go on, but you need to have something marketable that will slowly attract people as you market yourself out there.
And for the people who can't buy ads (99% of those here), marketing means collabs, twitter engagement, special streams, and raiding new people. Being found on twitch is also a thing but I say it's much less effective than traditional networking.
