The summary is that many people have "quit" being FlaVR, but they are still around; Sena and Nyana don't call themselves FlaVR anymore but that doesn't mean they completely dropped their characters. Other streamers quit, and re-incarnated no longer being related to FlaVR. And there's a few who debuted and keep streaming today, Raimi probably being the most significant; she's great, funny, a gamer, and a brat

Though I do want to point out that especially with context to here, Brolime dono'd Pippa 1K and derailed her stream for a good 5-10 minutes because she thought he was gonna kill himself and she wanted to see a response on twitter.
At this point my philosophy towards tossing money is just to do it if you want to; at the very least I haven't seen someone get outright banned because of it or whatever fallout it has caused.
