Eh. Poppyseed tea is a significantly more destructive opiate habit because it's impossible to standardize doses due to variations in potency between brews. If you're not full of shit, a gradual taper off of morphine is extremely attainable with kratom which can be purchased online or at head shops without a prescription.

The problem is opiates reconfigure your system, so even after you're clean you get cravings. Methadone is supposed to hack your brain into thinking you're satisfied for a time, but even then you often need continual treatment when cravings reaccur. Basically just not a good situation. Better than getting hospitalized for a dose because your lizard brain told you to.
I hope puri gets proper help soon. I feel really bad for not saying something sooner. I was scared she'd do something drastic if she knew, but she went, and got surgery even without me saying anything, so basically I really should have said something. Worst that could happen is happening.
