I've been using this post >>64005980, this floor plan >>64007179 and some images on Twitter to figure out the accurate approximation of it, and the conclusion is that it's minimum 8k and maximum 9k.
There are total of 3k seats on the ground level, 1.2k seats total for the orange area(half of D and B), and around 3.8k seats minimum for the green area(entire E area, half of H and F). It's hard to make a 100% accurate count since there aren't any info on whether the corner seats were available or not, but they shouldn't exceed 1k so giving 9k as the upper limit sounds good enough.
As for upping the scale for Holofes, it's quite difficult since they need to find a place that could support both an arena for concert and a place for the stalls/exhibition area. They are trying things differently this year by not renting the Arena Hall but combining 3 Exhibition Halls instead, probably to test the water on whether it could work out or not. The viewing experience onsite is definitely going to be worse though since that means they need to place makeshift seats instead of the dedicated ones in Arena Hall.
