I'm really glad to be in a board where people appreciate how hard their oshi works, while still casually watching others in their branch that interact with them. Of course, some of them I might not care for, but I would never waste my life shitposting about the ones I don't like, making threads about them, and watching clips and bits of streams to gather information I can twist into attacks. And it's nice to see no one tries to turn the board into a pissing contest about viewers or subs to try to turn those into some kind of personal worth.

I understand wanting to preserve her seiso idol image and keep strictly to her contract terms, but maybe she can cut loose a little bit sometimes? Really connect with her fans, maybe do some endurance streams?

Alright, before you, "literally who?" hear me out, Hololive may be a small corp but they have some real gems like Ninomae Ina'nis (pic related). Even if you don't like Hololive's poor management and the whole Pekora debacle, just give Ina chance, trust me. She's not just another lewdtuber, she's THE lewdtuber. Her getting raped by tentacles asmr can't be topped and overall she's just a very bubbly and energetic cutie. She's also an incredibly successful singer with several albums, a record deal, and countless covers animated by her genmate Mori Caliope (Draw streamer, also cute). I know it would have been a big boost to see her in Niji but I'm honestly glad she doesn't have to put up with all the seiso, saccharin bullshit restrictions.

Can we talk about how paradigm shifting the rise of HOLOSTARS was?
We need to give props to the talents, their managers and Yagoo for his insistence for handpicking all the boys himself, across all the branches even ID and KR, for shaking to the core what was quickly becoming a stale industry of streamers who predictably play, perform and react to the same things as everyone else. Now Vtubing is lauded as a legitimate performing art on its own, just when all of /vt/ believed its popularity already peaked and was declining.

And to think all it fucking took was for the Stars manager to point to ROF-MAO and ChroNoiR and then Astel and the rest of the boys to smirk in return like "that's all?" and step up. All from that one little push. It's mind blowing in retrospect that they shared in a recent interview that Stars were nearly being given up on and they were going to disallow custom merch before the guys put all their talents together because none of them wanted to disappoint their fans in that manner.

Now everyone is doing better for it. Remember when 4 million subscribers was a big deal and meant you were on the top? Now 40 million is the benchmark with Holostars sitting at the top and the almost equally talented Tempus just trailing after them followed by Anycolor's male units, and finally with PLAVE and ORION who were quick to follow the hype in their own markets. Their wide appeal beyond people who aren't normally into boy groups just demonstrates that they have the right amount of cool and calm confident competence and charisma with perfect doses of comedy and, just as importantly, a true zest for performance and desire to make (You) smile that you just can't help but be drawn to them once you see them at work.

Just think, not even that long ago collabing with the boys was seen as damaging your brand, now it's Miyabi and Rikka getting invited to New Year's Rocking Eve to perform alongside JHope and Jungkook. What fucking timeline are we in? We're talking about Miyabi, the guy who was almost bullied out of COVER just for being the first male debut.

They've continued making waves by streaming consistently everyday with no burnout(because who gets burntout playing vidya for a few hours a few days a week lol?) and their incredibly dedicated and mentally healthy fanbase of successful upstanding people with significant others who don't subject vtubers from other branches and companies, and their fans, to their deranged behavior.

Female vtubers were a genuinely incredible blessing on entertainment and they've really helped not appeal to the absolute most bottom of the barrel type of incel wageslaving consumer and have really put out some incredibly meaningful entertainment.

The reception to Pekora in Granblue Fantasy and of the kusogaki performances at the legendary K Arena in Yokohama for Valorant proves that the Hololive brand is popular and successful with general audiences.
