I call bullshit since woman (and yes, even Japanese women wbo speak higher on average due to social/cultural reasons) tend to fall into a deeper pitch when just chilling with friends. The opposite (women constantly dipping into vocal fry/the lower limit of their register) is a very Western thing, uncommon even in the West, and was not something I ever heard Pikamee do in the past.
