the only real novel grouping that was really good was ollie and haachama, i honestly can't think of any of others that were novel and really that good, and ollie and haachama makes a decent amount of sense in retrospect
it's mainly towa's fault for not making any other (unique) groups in general, botan is generally gone to watame now, tsunemos is basically always guaranteed to be smok or something of that vein, and so the only real group towa has now is startend and even that is superseded by other things those two do. you could argue doing suitowa -> startend was also just doing the same thing but with another thrown in from fes3 to fes4. the only logical groupings are towamei and purple women but the former is extremely unlikely with the others if they do the 1 for 1 thing, and the latter already runs into its own overlap if they don't repeat groupings. anything else i can't honestly think would be that much more interesting than just doing startend since we barely even get startend content because they're too busy being faggots offline
