I think golden age is kind of exaggerating. The community was a lot better off for the first half of 2022 and it was easy to get direct attention from her (not from DMs but on stream or on twitter). But now's probably the best she's been for her own sake and there's plenty of stuff to look forward to with fewer things trying to push her down constantly. She's stable and hopefully on the road to being healthier, and her content is consistent, including plans for new asmr videos (people have already kind of forgotten she once considered abandoning asmr) when she started vtubing).

also, this is the first time I've seen a woman who loves me stress over hearing about my day and what I've done. maybe it breaks her immersion of us being an amalgamation of all her fans and learning about different people's days makes her realize there's a difference, but that could be said of everything from donations to birthdays to colours of people's names.
not saying that dms are fine, but writing a name to a marshmallow that you can't respond to without outing the writer can't be that bad, since her main concern (at least from what she says) is that she struggles with replying to them.
