This one's kind of traumatic for me because Kanata cried on stream on the following day, going terminally hera about her singing just before her live, so I can't really listen to it without thinking about what's going on in her mind.

Honestly, the extra damage is not that great in DS3 and your attacks are considerably slower. For a boss with tight windows like Friede I think she'd benefit more from the speed of going single-handed, specially since making use of those windows are precisely what she's struggling with.

Really? I always got the feeling that she's one of the least popular holos in the west. Not disliked, just lacking popularity. Unless you mean popular as in people having a positive opinion of her. That's probably a combination of her being virtually yab free, having a "fighting through hardships" backstory and just generally being a really nice person.

I don't feel that is the case, she's one of the fastest nihongo speakers in holo and doesn't have any active translator in her chat. This board is hardly representative of English viewers, its denizens exposed to all sorts of normally unseen (shit)posts about holos and form their opinions based on them. I'm sure you can imagine what comes to mind first when most people on this board think of Kanata.
My reason though is because she cute and and she's gonna marry me

I don't think she's anywhere near that EN popular here, even outside the PekoMiko domination.
She's popular in threads here and there because gen 4 cred. But she never really interacts with EN so I feel like most Myth/Council/ID viewers hardly know her.
