They changed something recently which makes ccv grow faster at the start of a stream, all the ENs have like a 1 min waiting room recovery now it used to be like 3-5 minutes. If you've been away that long, youtubes made a lot of changes to it's algo since then. One of those changes dropped current viewer counts by as much as 40% for some streamers, like overnight. Most of the changes have hurt viewership, or how easy it is for songs to go viral for example. A lot of those changes were to combat things like kpop stans view farming.
HoloEN had a pretty rough year last year, but has been recovering again this year especially with Advent (Gen 3) debuting. Conversely NijiEN had a great year last year, they kind of blew up, but most of their viewership was chinese. They've left and they've had a terrible year this year with a ton of drama.
Despite all that HoloJP have been doing amazingly, pretty much a continuous incline since you stopped watching.
