besides that i think she has some habits that are bad for the general audio quality. i'm sure she is way too close to the mic most of the time. which is fine when you're using a dynamic mic, but not with the good condensator mic she is using nowadays. the bottles on her desk aren't helping either. there's too much gain on her audio like i remember in the last utawaku she put the gain on the mic at 400% at some point. that's also why her audio is clipping all the time. no idea why she needs all that gain anyway.. sure she is rather quiet, but that can't be everything.

i don't know that much about asmr mics, but considering how those are made to pick up even more stuff than other mics you definitely need to set them up the right way. rushia is using a 3dio i think which are not quite ku100 level but still really good asmr mics. as much as i would like to hear her use a ku100.. it's probably a bad idea unless someone else is setting up everything.

I think Rushia uses her mic from far away which is why her gain is set so high. Her voice completely lacks bass and if she were to get closer to the mic, proximity effect will increase the amount of bass in her voice (even though there isn't much to begin with).
Then she uses those same settings for the 3Dio in an untreated room which makes everything worse because the mic exaggerates treble.
She needs to get closer to the mic and turn down the gain in general.

She was definitely getting pretty close to her old dynamic mic back then and habits like that are hard to get rid off. I guess there's no way to be really sure without seing her actual settings and her room. She also still sometimes hits her head on the mic from time to time still so it can't be that far away. There could also be a problem with the headphones she uses to check the audio or something like that. I guess in the end those are all just speculations.
Yea, she definitely needs to turn down the gain. It's weird how the best audio from all her stuff is still her iphone, since you can't really fuck anything up there.
