I've really enjoyed watching her play through this game. I never really liked the game in the first place and instead saw it as an inferior version of the mother series, but after seeing her play through it I've softened on that. I'll probably try out undertale now.
Also I didn't get a chance to say this in the last thread, but I actually am really looking forward to Fauna's lets play. I think it's a great idea to allow her to still be around for us while she's taking a break, and also I think it'll be interesting to see how she acts without chat interactions. For someone who rarely chats, I think it might be cool.

Variety for the sake of variety does not have any value. I'm not some zoomer who needs a new game every other stream. It's a problem with her game choice being predominantly one-shots that don't facilitate sequential streams. The last time she had a solo stream with a game that had a story that spanned more than a single stream was nearly six months ago with SA2, and even then she would relegate story games to a single day - Sunday.
I like seeing 4 days of deltarune in a row SO much more than if Deltarune had been dragged out over the span of a month. She doesn't forget how to play, the story stays relevant, and the conclusion comes reasonably soon.
I enjoy the other games too, but it'd be better if the one-shots were given a dedicated day a week instead of story games

Sadly, long running games can easily become a poison, like Bae playing Persona 5 for a year, Mori/Kiara FF16, or Ina grinding Pikmin. Fauna took a different approach and it's been paying off so far. It's just her style. From what I heard even Irys was talking about that like yesterday, how she probably isn't gonna play some long RPG games because people simply lose interest.

Think about the scope of a gamejam (with real participants, not those guys who use their old polished games to participate, or a team of professionals) if you have something polished with a duration of a gif, you can get feedback by seeing the reactions of others. It's better to have something small finished than something that never sees the light of day, if that's your goal, because it's perfectly fine to make a game for yourself or your closest friends, as long as you feel it's worth it.

Well they're not poison since the channels are far from dead, and they're also not playing how I'm suggesting either. I'm not suggesting an extremely long playthrough that spans a year like that, I just want them done in a row or in relatively quick succession. Deltarune is done in 4 days instead of a month spreading 4 sundays. Bae's P5 would have only lasted a month or two instead of a year. Kiara would have played a week or two of FF16.
Nerissa's BG3? Now that's a thing of beauty. Nearly a full playthrough in the span of two weeks. Multiple streams of it a week, and chunky streams. That's the ideal. That would have taken 2 months if it was only done once a week, and it would have lost meaning because of it
