Part of the charm of these new guys is the fact that their new. /wvt/ is home to more established chuubas who tend to be more experienced and usually have a larger following.
(Although, I made sure to say "beginner phase" in the OP, because I know it takes some people longer than others. Some chuubas will stay a beginner for over a year, I get it.)

Eventually, some bevies (aspies) do move on to /wvt/. And then there are even some who further go from /wvt/ to /lig/. Everyone has a place on their journey!

You learn that very quickly when you browse through who is popular on twitch, both high energy play by play and low energy or even almost silent streams have been proven to get viewers. Even objectively bad and unintelligible commentary can work. I think the only universal advice is that you have to put in the time and dedication to grow and to be consistent in what you offer to viewers.
