Let's be real with ourselves here for a moment.
A bridge has to come from the JP side. More importantly, it has to come from somebody who is at least somehow charismatic and popular. And of course, knows English enough to banter.
It's funny but somehow it's just way easier to find white women who speak Japanese and are passionate about Japan and idols compared to finding Japanese women who speak English fluently-ish and ideally like both idol culture and also somehow have a positive impression of kaigai shit as well
Both Subaru and Korone are westaboos who have an appreciation for holo and idol culture, so it's clearly possible for a Japanese girl to end up being kaigai kakkoi about things without being infected by certain western sentiments.
I just think it's funny how out of the 41 women that were ever a JP Holo, has only ever had one member that spoke fluent English. Ririka was able to do that Bijou collab, which was unironically surprising and probably the first Holo besides Coco and Haachama that I have seen a Japanese Holo speak well enough to pull off an entire collab with an EOP and have it feel like they were actually talking instead of simply communicating.

FWMC is some industrial grade cringe. As a vtuber fan I thought I had at considerably high level cringe tolerance but man.
Especially when they interact with the other EN girls. The worst part is, they're fairly tame on their own without each other, but they do everything together and it just rapidly becomes unpleasant. They're a bit TOO commited to the kayfabe and it just doesn't work most of the time.
