The same thing happened to me last year. I was making art, edits, and clips for someone, but over time I could see her gratitude towards me fading rapidly. Meanwhile, she was singing praises up and down for people doing the same things that I was, only because they were part of the discord clique who are glued to her channel 16 hours a day to talk about the most inane shit and blogpost.

I decided I would go all out on a big project and make a highlight video for a game she played, it took me an entire week to learn video editing and and break down three streams 7-9 hours in length, while adding a little bit of effects here and there.
Her response? "wow"
Not a "hey everyone check out this video!", not a retweet, not even a single like.

I dropped her completely and found an oshi that not only appreciates me, but others who create content for her. I've never looked back.
