I've followed a dude (Non vtuber, but not flesh) who had a channel for a while, and he set up another for both videos and livestreams so it was different than his first channel. He recently announced he was going to stop using it because he had 1. No clue with what to do with it that wouldn't overlap with his other channel 2. It was taking time away from the original channel and affecting the outcome of it in the algorithm and video output. So he rolled back what he was going to do on it since he was basically at a loss

Tl;dr having 2 channels is hard to work since you have to figure out what to do for them individually, which can become a hindrance to both if you don't know what to do with one of them.

As for how many, that depends on circumstantial stuff. Nobody knows for sure if "the users with adblockers are now being counted". This is the working theory but there's no hard confirmation on this.
What we see is this, big Vtubers didn't get a significant boost in numbers; medium sized and small vtubers did somehow get more viewers. However, we also have to account for specific situations that may have boosted those numbers.
I watch a lot of Phase Connect so I have noticed an increase in every member; however, this increase could also have other explanations.
- Uruka hit 1000 viewers, however, she also returned from a month long hiatus, so a lot of viewers gathered for that. She's normally in the 300 view range.
- Lia and Shiina collabed surpassing 1000 views, however, Lia also returned from a mini hiatus, and she was having her deep dive on Monday, which are typically major streams; she normally is in the 500 view range.
- Rie reached 1000 viewers during a stream where she read "older brother applications"; content like this, with viewer participation, tends to get a ton of views; she is normally in the 200 view range.
- Jelly reached 900 viewers during a Q&A session, this also tends to get a lot of views; she is normally in the 200 view range.
- Panko reached 1000 viewers, but that was after being raided by Jelly -> Remi, and she was also playing incest game, which makes a lot of numbers. She's normally in the 300 view range.
- Tenma reached 1200 viewers, which is relatively common on Twitch, but not on Youtube, where she gets like 800 viewers. However, she has played many games recently that have boosted her numbers recently like Huniepop, Class 09, South Park, etc. She just may be a consistent 4-view now.
- Airi and Shiina both 800 views but that was in a big collab that they had, also together with Uruka and Iori. Their normal audiences are like 300 and 500, respectively.
- A lot of people think that Rie and Panko's incline came from being in a recent collab that they had with Filian and Pippa, who both have massive audiences. Some people think that Filian audience is boosting Phase numbers as well, which is typically bigger than Pippa's, around 5 K on Twitch.
So we are seeing increases of 50% to almost 100% in viewership, which is pretty whack.

I dont get why people brought up the support bros desu. I think that entire situation was overblown. Those guys just made the original website and twitter account and actually did help out a lot early on. It went to shit when they brought in acceloration bros. Majick if memory serves created Gen Sweets of which only Minta remains. I do believe there was an internal schism between some of the talents speaking as an Ex-insider, but whatever that beef was got handled internally like adults. The entire Niicola thing was what caused support to crash and burn because some were insistant on her staying while others werent, most left on their own having enough of it, and then it was quietly shuttered. We also owe Mixies updated design to the support bros who helped mixie prompt and encouraged her not to drop out despite intial drama generated from Marie. If memory serves that team was made up of Support, Zomba, N1 Flavr Fan, Majick, Glave, and Mi Noy. I think they are still involved in some capacity but have taken a far larger back seat in the long run as the Majority felt like they did their part or just didnt have the time anymore.
