IPO of IRyS Coin will occur at 01:00am ET on Saturday, July 10th. Because the coin is being released pre-debut, she will have a few new mechanics in regards to daily adjustments. First, she will not be affected by the first adjustment after her release, giving the players more control over her price. Secondly, the first adjustment after her debut will bring her to a newly calculated base price determined by her performance compared to the rest of the market. After that, she will behave as a normal coin.
I would also like to get some feedback on the new rebounding mechanism. We've been discussing changing it or even getting rid of it as it seems a big part of player interest came from seeing large gains from adjustments. Rebounding was implemented to slow inflation, but in the future we plan to add other methods of reducing inflation such as the item system, more useful superchats, auctions, etc. What are your thoughts on the issue?

Also, can you explain the recent phenomenon with lack of consistency on adjustments? Chuubas who don't stream very often or haven't streamed at all (Haato, Shion, Ayame) seem to be escaping the brutal punishments that other coins get for similar activity (Coco, Aki, Mel). Haato in particular seems very suspicious since she hasn't streamed in a month and is only getting a moderately steady stream of views and subs.
Can you also confirm or deny developer intervention in Ayamy's price, and the logic thereof?

this is true and i am all for it. Honestly, anything else other than making everything red is a better solution to inflation. Just let us buy items that we can show off to others. Inflation is still happening, the turbo-autists who day-traded profited the most of it before and still profits the most of it, but that's it. Now everyone holding, oshicoining, not completely trading 144 coins of each holo every day are constantly getting punished, net worth plummeting, while the people who were responsible for the patch still gets away making loads of money.
You introduced a system to reward holders of oversold stocks before, but holding is a horrible idea now, so that's now pointless.
You have an oshiboard. Oshicoining has always been a growth stun for the oshicoininers, but at least they could ride the market inflation from their deep positions. But now oshicoins are artificially driven down, so now it's just a death sentence.
You have superchats, but why would I ever spare any money when I'm bleeding every day?
We're getting completely nonsensical scenarios where dead coins like Civia or Haato gets to keep their player induced inflation because the system sees them as "stable", but everyone else gets nailed to the ground.
You're even making the problem WORSE, because now everyone is buying 50% dividend coins that the system forces to be MUCH cheaper than they should be, and divvies are hyper inflating even more.
Look at ina coin, she's constantly plummeting, she used to be high because takodachis were paying a lot out of pocket to keep her high, but now it's literally a waste of money since the system will force her down.
Why HOLD any coin when you a 100% guaranteed it's never gonna rise?
Bring back player driven inflation. Doesn't have to be the obscene numbers of before, but it HAS to come back.

I think the rebound mechanic is actually good for oshicoiners? I don't see how it doesn't benefit the oshicoiner. The price always resets you can buy in for a reasonable price now for the entire day. The problem with oshicoining pre-update was that your oshi(shitcoin) didn't have the dividend growth to keep up with her valuation that was getting pumped by other players. Your oshi being inflated by player-driven inflation was not going to increase your leaderboard position meaningfully compared to just not buying her, so this argument that player-driven inflation is helping you doesn't make sense. As she inflates more, you have to buy at higher prices, her dividend doesn't keep up, you know the story, you don't go anywhere.

Before you could profit from oshicoining, now you can't. Most oshi still have trash dividends, and oshicoiners probably lost way more in devaluation than the divs would make up for.
You'd have a much lower MPP than the rest after a while because you would ride inflation, so your oshi would be literally raising your net worth over time. Look at the big oshicoiners from the past top 10, natsuiro, nenepro, priestess, bread, all losing a lot of positions, because it WAS meaningful.
It would also help you secure your position. If someone wanted to dethrone you, they have to pay a lot more than you did. Now, if some daytrader wants to just take over, it's super easy for him, while you're getting deflated.
Sure you can buy more now, but it doesn't help you in any way.

The main problem is that coin prices are staying static/bogging while everyone makes 25% from divvies and whatever else people make from adjustment plays. Imagine your net worth being 1 mil, and Subaru at 4500 adjusts up 10%, you make 450 per coin. A month later you are now worth 10 mil, Subaru is still 4500 and you make the same amount.
