But not always. So you have like a million different Siti (woman name), and they all go by Siti. So in a company you have siti@company.com and that's it, no last name added to the email or anything. I guess the first Siti that works there gets that email. I don't know how they manage.
When it comes to Vtubing, I think the context is usually enough to tell them apart because often audiences don't overlap. For example, I only know yellow Lumi, I've never watched the other two. And I guess most Vtubers prefer a unique name so they do a quick search to avoid overlapping with another one. Certain names are probably very common but unless they are big enough, their audiences won't even know of the other ones.

Phase is just one of those small corpos that uses Japanese names for some of their EN vtubers. Airi Chisaka, Shiina Amanogawa...Lia's given name isn't Japanese, but her surname is Rinkou, that sort of thing.
The four members who count as JP in some way according to the company all have Japanese names, but if you see a Japanese name next to Phase Connect, they're likely still an EN.
