From the disaster that was Omega to the cluster fuck-up that was the handling of "Project Hope" and constant lack of opportunities given to the girls.

It's so weird how screwed over EN seems to be by their own management. Kiara had just mentioned how hard she was trying to push for EN 3D anniversaries/events but told the studio is booked and will be for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, IRyS, who was meant to be a V-singer hasn't even gotten any major opportunities to perform live and often, even though that was one of the major reasons to have a "V-singer." With dozens of Original songs, she's more than capable of having a Sololive.

All of this isn't even including the years and talks about ideas being shot down, or being canceled on the final stretch of their development. It's ridiculous. But hey, here is another group of HoloStarsEN that literally no one asked for.

Support your current talents and build them up, stop just trying to throw shit at the wall and seeing what sticks, because it's just hurting everyone.

For those of you just waking up, Kiara had a twitter space earlier this morning discussing her recent frustrations with Cover and one part in particular stood out to me as especially worrying.

Here is a brief summary provided to me by someone on discord about the portion in question:

Serious disclosure and reflection of my thought and action as a Hololive fan regarding Holostar/Holostar fan up until this point
Hololive, only grow stronger! With that in mind I will be frank with my behaviors change begin since Tempus Vanguard debut up until recently with my thought process/justification later. Hope it resonate with some of you and help the community get better, keeping out any anti that try to exploit the difference in value in some of us.

Negative behaviors: 1. I actively downvote any post with Holostar I come across. Especially one with Hololive member and Holostar member together.
Actively engage in multiple arguments with other user regarding any topic that touch on parasocial and whenever things regarding Hololive/Holostar interaction involved.

Going as far as to directly go to other sub such as r/Holostar and r/Okbh to shunt said users about their posts/comments. Building up quite a reputation as a parasocial/unicorn who would scream at the thought of their oshi interacting with star (not the case btw, I will touch on this later)

During Vanguard debut, posting about how management were experimenting with EN and chasing the success of a certain rival company on male vtubing.

Even up until recently these kind of behavior of me persisted.

Reflection/thinking back on why I did all these things:

I am a Hololive fan first and foremost, I started to fall into the hole since the Azurlane/Hololive colab got me curious, then boom, here I am.

Am I parasocial? Yes, if not then I would go about my day without thinking to type all this out. But I consider myself a healthy one with normal relationship and social life. My parasociality extend to even the fanbase because we have been through a lot, if you know you know, you mf are the most resilient fanbase I have ever been in and it make me very proud myself.

Then Myth debut, Covid happened, I started following them since debut, watching their journey the first year have been an emotional roller coaster for me and I loved every second of it.
What changed me:

I honestly don't know when it started, but specificly Omega debut made me feel unease. Not that I hate the character, but the fact that they represent the management, and that they stand over the talents and considered themself all powerful, I seriously didn't like that because I went against everything Hololive have stood for until that point. Talent - First.

When Tempus debuted, I enjoyed the move as a sign that Cover and Yagoo is willing to branch out to new audiences, I was magging along, I recommended them to my female friends. But then the friction some "fan" had with male/female colab arised, I didn't care because I didn't watch Kronii at the time, or now for me to care. I just thought it was stupid and the "unicorn" were just anti in disguise and it will blow over just like everytime, I simply ignored the bickering. I thought it would not bother me or change the way I engage with the fanbase, but it didn't go away or was I sane enough to avoid it, I will elaborate soon.
The point is I was partial to this topic until the day that the sub was locked, when Vanguard debuted. I felt something welled up, and I needed to rant, and I did, I will detail here, right or wrong is up to you to decide, I simply retell the story. I posted on this sub about how Cover is prioritizing HolostarEN too much, without at least trying to fully support Hololive Myth and Council, how by venturing out too far and spread management too thin you will end up hurting the girls and their projects.

From that day I was branded as an unicorn/parasocial/incel.
I snapped

Since then I acted exactly as you would expect an "unicorn" with my negative behaviour I listed up in the top of this post. I started to resent the part of the fanbase that constantly bring this topic up, starting fights with them, unprompted. I felt anger any time the word "unicorn", "parasocial", or "incel" popped up in the sub. I acted exactly as the version of "unicorn" they have built up and hence the vicious cycles of negative reinforcement from both sides.

Nobody win

That side pushed harder, going to extreme to provoke the "unicorn" with post resenting the downvote of star posts, posts with Hololive/holostar members then proceed to denounce parasociality unprompted, citing the downvote percentage.

I responded, saying why care, why trying to fight an invisible enemy, why bringing negativity into the community, stop doing these kind of stuff.

Their enemy was not invisible anymore, I became their enemy, I am the bad parasocial fan, whoever stop them from their endeavors became the unicorn/incel in their eyes. I became the target that they were looking for all this time, thus the never ending cycle began. I became the very thing I swore to destroy, I became THE negativity in the community.

Do I hate the people that try to do that? Yes, yes I did. I still hate their guts, so so much. It is just human, we hold grudges... but we should be better than that and be civilized by the end of the day.

Were they wrong? Now that I think about it, more often than not they are Holostar fan, and they have a reason to do that, they did that for their star oshi and I appreciate that, we all act irrational for our oshi sometimes. as there are actual unicorn out there that do this kind of thing, but there are more so anti acting as unicorn, and expecting the fanbase to fight among each other, and we did fight among each others.

And that is exactly what happened, and I was sucked into that exact vicious cycles, constantly fighting, bickering, being all negative.

Then I write this post.

Did I do it to defend myself or my action? No!

I do it because deep inside I love this community and believe it will only grow bigger, healthier and stronger.
I will stop with my negative behaviour from now on.

But not without an important message to fan like me, or people who are against fan like me:

You might hate each other's gut but remember we are all here for our oshi, bringing negativity here for some pointless culture war will not solve any problem, instead voice your concern in a civilized way, DO NOT, in any circumstances create any weakness for anti and hater to exploit us against each other. Be a better person, be civilized, if you consider yourself a fan then love the fanbase, don't denounce it, as negativity only breed more negativity. Let's resolve our differences one by one for the sake of this beautiful community.
