This is going to sound like a nothing statement but the perspective is wrong on things.

It isn't that women dominate streaming, it's that the average viewer is either really horny for women or desperate for any kind of attention from one.
That's proven by men using female avatars but not even trying to be a woman.
Or the attention a woman who's non-binary with a masculine appearance for their model, even the slightest hint of a woman will be enough to draw their attention.

Those aren't the people you want, and if they are idk what to tell ya.

But the problem isn't that you're male, it's more that people aren't scrambling to fuck you.

Effort tier list

High effort: Streams regularly, makes edited content/shorts regularly, active on social media
Medium effort: Streams regularly or semi-regularly, makes edited content/shorts sometimes/rarely (at least in the last month), fairly active on social media
Low effort: Streams infrequently or never, makes edited content/shorts rarely or never, sometimes active on social media

The good news is that 99% of people have streamed recently. The bad news is that not many people are regularly making edited videos or shorts other than uploaded VODs. Some choobas don't even have a YouTube.

Don't take any of this too seriously. I wish I'd measured using different metrics as some choobas are putting in effort but in different places, e.g. art. That's why I couldn't rank the artists (I don't think art streams are very clippable).

Some choobas came very close to high effort but hadn't uploaded edited content in the past month (or not that I could see).

I've been looking around and there's not a lot of useful info on eyes, its usually how to edit the textures or how to make eyes for other unrelated stuff
Since it seems you have to use eyebones you're kind of forced to do it one of a few ways.

You're going to run into a problem with animated textures and blendshapes with drivers, because those aren't supported in default vrm (unity format for vtuber models), although I think you can animate textures if you use vseeface/vnyan
I can't give you tips on making the eyes look good without seeing the wip model, maybe try asking in /3/, the 3D board
