Yeah, im@s is something else. Covers so many genres and produces more bangers in each genre than most anime have total. Staggering amount of content, everybody can find something for themselves.What's more you can mix and match your favorite idols for the songs resulting in quite different outcomes. For example Makoto is my favorite for Agent Yoru wo Yuku, her voice is godly and I melt every time I hear her sing this song. However it also has extra spicy appeal when sang by combos like Iori + Mami + Yayoi. The girls have really distinct personalities, voices and all are great singers.
2010-2014 was my most active anime watching period, doing 12-20 shows a season and The iDOLM@STER was easily in the top3 of 2011, together with Madoka and Usagi Drop.
