Been looking through Holofangames. The Kronii fangame Chrono Gear looks like a pretty fun Metroidvania and the sprite and animation quality is nice but man it's such a goddamn shame that the devs had to shoehorn in homo references even with the ones Kronii never even interacted with.

The Smol Ame dev I completely forgot has been making fan games still (made the Boom Boom Hakotaro game and Beeg Sana). Currently making an Advent game called "Age of Advent" which is a mashup of different minigames in one. Nothing all that impressive as it's just simple games like snake and candy crush but with a very stylized Advent skin over it all (also good lord he is a massive Bettel fan).

Elite Exorcist Miko (bullet hell game) is shaping up to be promising. The total amount of bosses currently is around 11 or so of the Holo girls both JP and EN currently. Could be a really fun boss rush game plus the ZUNpet style remixes are great.

Found a Korean dev whose currently making what appears to be a 3D Gura beat em up platformer. Looks pretty charming and feels reminiscent of "A Hat in Time".

HoloEN Halloween based game that features 5 playable minigames. Primarily Myth based. Looks like a pretty fun time waster, minigames are a chemistry mixing game with Ina, stealth assassination based game with Kiara, horror corridor runner (think Dark Deception essentially) with Mori, FPS wave survival with Ame, and Kaiju destruction mode with Gura.

The Parking Lot is a beat em up style game such as River City Girls and Streets of Range. You primarily play as Mori or a deadbeat. Sprite work is nice and combat looks good looks pretty reminiscent of Scott Pilgrim.

Very fast pace Metroidvania like game. Best game I could compare this to is Hollowknight and Touhou Lunar Nights. Developer has been pretty silent about it since it’s reveal however they are still active and frequently make pixel art and animations.

I actually like Bettel's inclusion in Chrono Gear. Stumbling on a clown vs clown battle on a runaway train is a fun idea for a level. Having to fight Polka and Bettel at the same time that they are fighting each other could make for an interesting boss fight.

Which ultimately make no sense because the fucker has never interacted with Kronii in the first place; it would be an easy layup to just stick to Polka for the level because the traveling circus has always been a thing.

It's telling when only the homos have commented on that tweet and Kronii ignored it altogether, and it's a real heel-turn considering all the other stuff the dev put out before they made their own dev twitter account made it seem it would be more Council-focused than anything else. I wonder when it's going to click for these idiots that shoehorning in Homos into fangames does not increase their numbers or endear them to the fanbase at large and comes across as obnoxious when you have Stars stuff shoehorned at the start of the story mode for Idol Showdown.
