Im not too big on vtubers as a whole, I honestly struggled to find someone I wanted to follow, for some reason Monoe was the one, I would watch her while at work or studying and it would help me pass th etime, I dont know I got hooked, loved her personnality and her style, it was so comfy watching her streams.

And yet now I can only watch clips of her, and I still have no idea what happened to her outside of the "contract breach".

It was probably abrupt because her boss told her to quit her secondary income source or she'd be in trouble very soon. Both Tomoshika and Pikamee said that they, Gyari, AND Monoe all talked about it and came to this decision as a group.
Of course they sounded that way. They still lost a friend. Maybe Magnet couldn't associate with VOMS anymore at all, by order of her employers. Maybe VOMS couldn't associate much with her because it was technically a crime. Either way, she didn't die.

You don't know the terms of their contract. An anime studio might get ownership over all the voice lines, but that doesn't mean Gyari put that he owns every other thing the girls say.
Hololive has done the same thing of deleting the whole archive for someone who was terminated instead of graduated.

See the fucking difference? For voice actors they give their voice away, while corporate vtubers are given a character to voice.
Now what happens if that vtuber got fired? What happens if they say 'hey, you can't use my voice anymore'? Now gyari could do things differently here. He can 'buy her voice' so she can't claim it as hers anymore or he can delete it and avoid the problem altogether. Guess what he picked.

You'd have won with this argument with these statements if the collab streams were deleted as well. They weren't. Some of them are on Pikamee and Tomoshika's channels too. They're still up. They contain Monoe's voice.

>Hololive has done the same thing of deleting the whole archive for someone who was terminated instead of graduated.
Exactly. People who were terminated had their channels deleted. people who ended with the company on good terms didn't. I don't know why you're bringing this up, it supports my argument.

>There's no conspiracy, anon.
Spiteful termination is a simple concept, it's something that can happen between TWO people, there's no conspiracy to be had. We don't know anything for sure anyway, but I sure as fuck haven't been disproven on this one.

>I don't smoke weed. How hard is it to quit?
depends on how deep down the rabbit hole you've dived. If you smoked weed like 10 times it's easy as fuck, you literally just stop. If you've been smoking weed for like years, it's extremely difficult.

>> No.6216598

>>6209814
the first time you smoke weed you're already halfway through the addiction.

no matter what substance it is, always do your best to avoid anything considered addictive.

Especially when it comes to smoking, weed or just cigarettes, trying to stop it is nearly impossible for the majority of addicts, and no matter how hard you try, you will always feel the need to smoke at some point, even if you havent smoked for years, all you can do is repress the craving, but it does not go away.
Try to stop porn and you'll understand just how bad it can be, even if you stop it as a whole, you've already went far enough to never be able to live without sexual cravings and unconvential fetiches. Weed is the same.

>> No.6216689

>>6209686
this
one's addiction is one's own problem, as long as it doenst actually interfere in any possible way with their work, the employer should not have to do anything about it.

Sure they can always motivate them to quit, but firing someone because they do something that does not harm your company's image and doesnt affect its productivity significantly enough is retarded.

Pay the nofapper no mind anon, he has zero experience and is just parroting shit other people have drilled into his head.

Weed isn't tobacco. You probably shouldn't start at all, but it's more comparable to alcohol than anything. Alcohol is bad for you, but having a beer isn't going to turn you into an alcoholic (and you're probably not retarded enough to drive under the influence either).

Weed is a decently fun drug for get-togethers that you shouldn't go overboard on if you don't want to have a panic attack, and that's about all there is to it.
There's nothing special or super beneficial about it to a layman, nor is there anything evil and malicious lurking inside it that's going to latch onto you and ruin your life like a nicotine addiction, people get addicted to it because it's a form of escapism. It's a drug that makes you dizzy, numb, and stupid for a few hours, nothing more, nothing less.

(Just like masturbation is a healthy and normal way to relieve your sexual urges and flush out your reproductive fluids so long as you aren't destroying your dick multiple times a day every single day.)

>> No.6221029

>>6209686
I'm not even saying the rrat is real. I'm just specifying that it being over weed is certainly a possibility, which is ironic because Japan's anti-weed laws were entirely based on post WWII American influence and prior to that, they never really gave a shit.
>>6209814
Weed is super easy to quit. The addictive properties of weed are so mild that, unless you've been doing it daily for years you can quit cold turkey like it was nothing. The real problem with it, and the reason why most people end up addicted to it, is that weed makes you lazy, where frequent smokers will end up too lazy to put in even a little bit of effort to break such an easy habit to break.
