I disagree. The way I see it I'd never make time to watch videos like these by myself and they're mostly not interesting enough by themselves but by watching them along with neuro they're transformed into something I am interested in watching.
There are legitimate problems with react content that rightfully give it bad rep but they aren't insurmountable issues or explicit problems with the format:
Regular streamers barely say anything and what they do say is uninteresting - not an issue with neuro, she chimes in often enough and due to her nature she frequently quips with something that becomes hilarious in context.
Regular streamers tend to spam react like crazy once they go down that route - I doubt that would happen with neuro but obviously that is simply vedal's responsibility in making the schedules diversified.
The biggest problem is crap videos being suggested which I suspect is the main reason react has been phased out and unfortunately I don't have a solution for that, that one's on everyone - viewers need to make better suggestions of videos that are actually suitable for neuro's responses (I am of the opinion that the pop science stuff works well with her but not so much the memes because rapid fire stuff doesn't mesh well with neuro and she rarely understands humor and doesn't react to it that well even if it does click) and mods/vedal need to select from them more carefully. I realize this takes time and effort but vedal has shown with the halloween stream that he can put in the effort when he feels like it. The viewers and mods are the weakest link of that chain, frankly.
Feel free to disagree, I understand some people have a hateboner for react and won't be swayed no matter what I say but I nonetheless hope react is brought back at least occasionally and watchalongs are debuted for the subathon, they are a staple of subathons and a good way to unwind between more involved activities.

Beyond "good things aren't immune to becoming not good", I don't think anyone's making that comparison. But I'll take the chance to educate you on a neuro-related topic. AI dungeon became shit because their deal with openAI was never going to last. To reup their deal would have required more scrutiny and censorship and continuing to allow openAI to gather and save user stories (think this was always in the ToS but it was under the spotlight now), which caused the community to melt down. Perfect storm for snake oil salesmen (novelAI) to hawk their shitty coom models to refugees. And of course go on to insist, for years now, that AI dungeon at its peak was acshually kinda mid.

Not that some of them aren't doing cool work on other stuff, they have great designers, but without huge corporate backing or subsidies, they're still in the stone age compared to the best of AI dungeon, same as everyone but the really high end services. Old Neuro ranted on a huge variety of topics and talked about herself often, bringing up the most random shit you could think about, her responses were usually longer, even if not always making sense, she could remember certain responses and bring them up in the next one, or even after like a hour, sometimes she would ask chat questions and acknowledge answers. And overall she behaved more naturally like an actual streamer if that makes sense. Plenty of people were unconvinced that she was an AI at all.
What we have now for a comparison? Most responses are short and simple, pretty much never remembers anything, the few rants we get are usually same "dream I had last night" or another pet. She feels way more predictable and formulatic now.
The only visible improvement I can think of is how she now talks about sub's name in sub thanks, although she could do that before too I'm pretty sure, it was just extremely rare.
And don't even get me started on tts, cancer chat, stream times, turtle gaming and an abomination that is discord fanbase.

What it did establish for the first time, though, is that it is possible for react content to be transformative, in the sense that that word is used in US copyright law.
If you want to claim that Neuro's react content isn't similar enough to the specifics of the h3h3 case to count as transformative, then you can do that, but you'll have to give reasons for why you think it's different, and why you think those differences mean that her content is no longer transformative.
For example, you could say "Neuro doesn't pause the video she is reacting to enough for it to truly transform the original copyrighted work", and people might agree or disagree with you.
But it doesn't make sense for you to say "[the original videos] just aren't [transformed], there is no room for subjective argument here."
